A Must Read for All Rising Stars

A fresh and innovative approach to professional development. This book offers simple strategies for making strategic and successful critical thinking a daily habit. It encourages a shift in approach that, if followed, enables the reader to close off negative or "limited" messaging and discussion that might limit personal growth - suppressing self doubt and moments of "second guessing". I have read many books that taut the secrets to success. This book is inspiring and really makes you feel like you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. Things aren't as complicated as we think they are. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to motivate themselves and succeed!

Inspiring and full of practical guidance

This gives the author a special kind of credibility, such that the reader is eager to find out what he has to say. And he doesn't disappoint. This book is filled with humility, wisdom, and practical guidance that will help readers to be more effective in leadership, and in life in general. The author skillfully weaves together concepts from his training as a psychologist, lessons from his experience as an executive coach and consultant, and insights from his remarkable life story. As I finished the book I was inspired, and I also committed to putting into practice some practical action steps to increase my own effectiveness.
